Colorado Man Sets Mountain Climbing Record

A Colorado man is now a world record holder in mountain climbing.  Josh Sanders climbed ten mountains of 14-thousand feet or higher in 23 hours and 33 minutes on June 29th near Buena Vista, Colorado. The feat broke the previous single-day record of nine mountains climbed which had been set in 2013 by another Colorado native,  Eric Lee.  It is Sanders' second major record set after he and his sister stood at the high point of all 48 contiguous states in less than 20 days in 2015.
